Grandma's Beach Treats is locally owned and operated and aims to WOW all visitors. We are a full-service ice cream shop, open year-around, as well as a small bakery creating homemade "award winning" butter tarts, banana bread, meat pies, sausage rolls, homemade soups, square & cookie platters and soooo much more! It all started with our gourmet handmade caramel popcorn and our products have grown to include 20+ popcorn flavours, homemade fudge, hand-crafted espresso drinks, coffee, loose-leaf teas and a great selection of local and unique gift items which we often build into creative and fun gift baskets.

In 1980 Mr. Norm and his wife retired to Wasaga Beach right by the beach resort, but wanted to do something to keep themselves busy during the warm summer months. Thus, Mr. Norm's Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream Shop was born.

​​In 1988, Mr. Norm officially handed the reins of the store over to his nephew, Dan, keeping it local.

For 32 years, Dan and the Mr. Norm's staff supplied Wasaga Beach with fun ice cream and yogurt combinations throughout the summer months.
